Reschedule, cancellation & refund policy
For consultation sessions
Payment & appointment confirmation. To confirm your consultation session, full payment must be made within 24 hours of booking and at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. Once payment has been made, the assigned therapist will remain unchanged. However, if after the first session you feel the therapist may not be the right fit, please let us know — we'll gladly help arrange a more suitable match for future sessions.
Session booking policy.
- Personalised appointments: each session is uniquely reserved for the named participant based on their individual needs.
- No last-minute substitutions: you may not send someone else to attend on your behalf without prior written approval.
- Rescheduling & cancellations: if you need to change or cancel, please inform us as early as possible, in line with the policy below.
- Late arrivals: if you arrive late, your session may be shortened, or you may be asked to reschedule.
Cancellation & emergency policy.
- Late cancellation (less than 24 hours' notice): incurs a charge of 50% of the session fee. For clients on a package, one session is deducted instead.
- "No-show" (without notice): treated as a late cancellation — the full fee is charged, or a full session is deducted from a package.
- Emergencies: in an emergency (e.g. sudden illness or accident), notify the therapist at least 2 hours before the session; otherwise a 50% charge applies. Emergencies are reviewed case by case.
- Refunds: where a refund is required, it will be processed within 7–10 working days.
For reports & IDN health checking
If you'd like to cancel a purchase, you may do so by notifying us within 24 hours of the successful payment notification. Contact us at info.psychologyhome@gmail.com; payment, minus an administrative fee of 1.5%, will be refunded within 5 working days.
For personalised frequency therapy
Therapy that is bespoke and made to order to your specific requirements is non-refundable. We reserve the right to reject any cancellation or refund deemed unfit or unreasonable.
Confidentiality & privacy
All information shared during consultation sessions is strictly confidential. No detailed information about your session will be disclosed to anyone outside PsyHome without your prior written consent. However, in certain circumstances therapists are mandated by law to break confidentiality, if/when:
- the client poses a danger to themselves;
- the client makes a serious threat of violence towards a reasonably identifiable victim;
- the client provides written authorisation to release information;
- a court orders the release of information (note: our centre does not provide psychological services for court or police cases);
- the client is below 18 years of age (parents/guardians have the right to access therapeutic information; the therapist will brief them with a session summary);
- a child or an elderly person is abused or neglected.
Professional consultations & case discussions. To enhance the quality of care, our professionals may consult with other licensed health and mental-health experts. Every effort is made to protect your identity, only relevant clinical details are discussed, and all consulting professionals are legally bound by confidentiality.
Duty to protect. Where there is a credible and immediate threat of harm to yourself or others, we may be required to take protective action — which may include seeking hospitalisation, notifying family members or emergency contacts, or informing law enforcement or medical personnel. Information is disclosed only to the extent necessary to prevent harm.
No-recording policy. To protect privacy and the integrity of sessions, PsyHome does not record any part of your session (video or audio), and clients are strictly prohibited from recording, photographing or capturing any part of a session using any device. This applies to both in-person and online sessions.
How we handle personal data collected through this website (enquiry forms, cookies and analytics) is described in our Privacy Policy.
